With the inauguration of Joseph Robinette Biden Jr. as new president of the free world, it is a new chapter in American and world politics. Donald Trump is gone from elected office, but Trumpism will remain. Trump will be “living rent-free inside the heads” of all his haters and history. To clear the air on some points, here are some thoughts:
So much happened only in the very first weeks of 2021 but to point out how much Trump has given for his country and “deplorables.” He abandoned his wealth and reputation to save the country he had seen degrading year by year. Taking from Ronald Reagan, he took the famous slogan “Make America Great Again” as the signature of his campaign and movement and this resonated with middle America. The 2020 election showcased just that. He won more than 10 million votes and vastly improved with all minorities in comparison to 2016, albeit 2016 was groundbreaking. To contrast, Obama got 3 million less votes in his 2012 bid for reelection.
“Sometimes by losing a battle you find a new way to win the war.”
Donald Trump, The Art of the Deal
Trump is the first president in modern history to be poorer than before entering office. Forbes estimated the former president to be worth $3.5 billion in 2016 to $2.7 billion in 2020. This number tells many things. Most former presidents became substantially richer than they were before. 1,142%! Although it has been skewed by Bill Clinton’s 6,150% increase. And seriously, whom do you prefer? The person who gives up his wealth for his country or gives up his country for his wealth?
The biggest problem with the new president Biden is this: he spent 47 years in Washington DC as an elected politician. Almost 5 decades! And it is now that he wants to make a change? Isn’t the Democratic party dominated by young and fresh new ideas for a better future? Actually, don’t tell why, we all know the answer.
One of the major problem we always hear about trump is his rhetoric. Let’s assume that Trump’s rhetoric is controversial, and even this saying is controversial and disputatious. If you speak to normal people daily, you will see that their use of language is usually the same… or worst. Especially younger folks.
Furthermore, he is the first president in modern history not to start a war. You must have heard that he was a public danger because he had the control of the nuclear button. However, he deescalated the tensions in many places. North Korea and the Middle East are prime examples.

Donald Trump, 2016 GOP debate
America was really downgraded.
With his departure, it is fair that many should reexamine their position on Trump. Please stay in touch because next week I will publish a full account of what I appreciated with Trump’s four years and what I disliked. (Policy-wise)
We’re left to the Communists. Ive been scared of this my whole entire life and now its here 😦
